Joyce Rutherford

Joyce Ann Rutherford, age 74, of Crystal, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at her home under the loving care of her family and Elara Caring Hospice. The daughter of Richard Leonard & Iva (Guessman) White, she was born on December 12, 1944 in Carson City, Michigan. On May 30, 1964, in Crystal, she married Robert William Rutherford and together they enjoyed nearly 52 years of marriage until Robert passed away on April 27, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Larry White. Surviving are their daughter, Penny & Bart Shinabarger, of Carson City; and two grandchildren, Robby Shinabarger and Tara Shinabarger; two great-grandchildren, Eli Simon and Luna Shinabarger; two sisters, Jean & Glenn DePue of Crystal, and Judy Bellinger of Belding; a brother, Dick & Diane White; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville.
