Joyce Lysiak

Joyce Ann (Caffery) Lysiak, age 80, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. She was born June 1, 1941, in Muskegon, to the late Leonard and Elaine (Hammond) Caffery. Joyce graduated from Muskegon High School with the class of 1959. She married John Edward Lysiak on September 17, 1966, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Muskegon. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage and raised three children. Survivors include her husband, John; children, Jean Lysiak, John (Tracy) Lysiak, Jeff (Diane) Lysiak; grandchildren, Jake (Ashley), Travis, Mason, Gage, Nathan (Brandi), and Cody (Nicki); and great-grandchildren, Faith, Layla, and Ava. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Fran Sheffer. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
