Joseph Vansconis

Joseph C. Vansconis, age 88, of Spencer Township, passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 24, 2008 at Spectrum Health United Memorial-United Hospital, Greenville. The son of Agnes (Schultz) and William Vansconis, he was born on Feb. 2, 1920 in Eden Township, Mason County. For 37 years, Joe worked at the former R.J. Tower Automotive Corp. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Vansconis in 1976, and by his wife, Leona Vansconis in 1978. Honoring his wishes, no visitation or services will be held and burial will take place privately at Spencer Mills Cemetery.
