Joseph Stanley Sydlik Jr, age 76, of Hartford, beloved father passed away Friday, December 18th, 2015 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
The son of Joseph & Mary (Jabczanka) Sydlik, he was born on November 10, 1939 in Natrona, Pennsylvania. Joe attended Harbrack High School and went on to be a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. He then worked for Martin Brother Mill & Foundry as Mechanical Service Manager for 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mariam; and sister, Theresa Wolfe. Surviving are his daughters, Anna Rita Gunnett, Theresa (Eric) Kausrud, and Kathryn Vos; son, Patrick J. (Kathy) Sydlik; sister, Mary Anne Sydlik; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three nieces; and one nephew.
A family visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Watervliet District library, 333 N Main St, Watervliet. Memorial contributions can be made in Joe's name to the Michigan Disabled and Paralyzed Veterans Fund.
