Joseph Hitts

Joseph John Hitts, age 61, of Kentwood, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming. The son of James B. & Nettie Mae (Collins) Hitts, he was born on June 21, 1952 in Fremont. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Joe had worked as a plant manager in rolled steel manufacturing. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Lou (Kooienga) Hitts, of Kentwood; and their children. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and final interment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery near Battle Creek.
