Jonathon Yarrington

Jonathon Miles Yarrington, age 27, of Grand Rapids, passed away tragically Thursday, February 23. 2017. Jonathon was a proud graduate of Wayland High School. Through his life he held many different jobs but finally landed his dream job at Founders Brewery working the night shift. As much as Jonathon loved his job, nothing compared to the love he had for his family. He was the most loving and caring father to his boys. He enjoyed soaking up the sun on the beach, adding to his Jordan collection, and scouring the area for the best craft beers he could find. His smile was contagious and could light up a room. Jonathon loved to laugh and make others do the same. Jonathon is preceded in death by his father, James Yarrington; aunt, Kelly Haddan; grandmother, Mildred Morford; great grandmother, Betty Haddan; and cousin, Mike Stowe. A memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E. Grand Rapids with a visitation one hour prior. A luncheon will follow at Founders Brewery, 235 Grandville Ave S.W. Grand Rapids. A memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E. Grand Rapids with a visitation one hour prior. A luncheon will follow at Founders Brewery, In lieu of flowers contributions can be made out to the family for final expenses. There will be envelopes at the service or you can donate at GoFundMe.
