Jonathon Marvin

Jonathon Ray Marvin, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 21, 2015. He graduated from Whitehall High School in 1975 and eventually moved to Grand Rapids, where he enjoyed living in an urban environment. He was proud to work as a dishwasher at places such as Olds Manor, Big Boy, TGI Fridays and doing custodial work at the Masonic Center in Grand Rapids. He enjoyed spending time with his family and often looked forward to getting together with them. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tim Music; Surviving are his father, Clarence (Linda) Marvin of Whitehall; mother, Lois Polverento of Montague; sisters, Kelly (Terry) Ramthun of Montague and Sharon Music of Grand Rapids; as well as his three nephews of whom he was a proud of, Nicholas, Joshua and Ryan. He will be remembered at a private memorial in the near future. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
