Joice Wrung

Ms. Joice L. Wrung, age 86, formerly of Greenville and Ionia, passed away Tuesday evening, March 6, 2007 at Masonic Pathways in Alma. The daughter of Clarence & Jennie (Bartlett) Wrung, she was born on Jan. 15, 1921 in Ionia. She worked most of her life as an interior decorator and in furniture sales. In Ionia, she had also worked in advertising sales for the Ionia Sentinel-Standard newspaper and for the WION radio station. Survivors include a granddaughter, Maria Bohenberger of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and a niece, Christine Ulmer of Shepherd. As she wished, cremation has taken place and her remains will be scattered in San Francisco Bay near the Golden Gate Bridge.
