John Wiegand

Sgt. First Class John Paul Wiegand, age 76, of Muskegon, passed away early Sunday morning, July 15, 2012 at his home under the loving care of his family and Harbor Hospice. A decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, John served with with the U.S Army for 20 years and was a receipient of the Bronze Star Medal, as well as the Vietnam Gallantry Cross. Survivors include his wife, Ngoc (Vu) Wiegand of Muskegon; two daughters, Angela William and Ciny Thurng Vu; two sons, Vu Nguyen and Michael Wiegand; and a niece, Carla Wiegand. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Sgt.
