John Wahlse Jr.

John G. Wahlse Jr., age 83, of Sheridan, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 21, 2025.

He was born on June 3, 1942, in Flint, to John G. Sr. & Ethel Wahlse.

John worked as a boilerman for Electrolux until his retirement on June 1, 2004.

He enjoyed caring for his yard, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, most of all he cherished the time spent with his daughter and family.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly & Andrew Eversole; grandchildren, Jason Western, Jennifer Wahlse and Jared Eversole; great-grandchildren, Hunter Eversole, Aiden Western, Jantz Wahlse and Zayden Kelley; brother, Doug & Vickie Hilderbrant; nephew, Kevin & Rebecca Hilderbrant; niece, Bobbi Caswell; five great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phil Hilderbrant; and grandson, Jonathan Eversole.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Timbers Event Center (7033 S. Sheridan Road, Sheridan).
