John Vanschagen

John Christian VanSchagen, age 73, of Ada, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at his son's home under the loving care of his family and Faith Hospice. The son of Cornelis & Johanna (Proper) VanSchagen, he was born on September 8, 1938 in Amsterdam, Holland and worked as a Technical Engineer for 36 years. Survivors include two sons, Dr. John E. VanSchagen M.D. of Ada, and Mark A. VanSchagen of Stanton. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place, with burial at Forest Home Cemetery in Greenville, Michigan at a later date.
