Dr. John A. Picone, age 66, of Okemos, formerly of Medford MA, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017. He was a distinguished physician for 35 years, an outstanding soccer coach and a proud alumnus of Michigan State University.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Rose (Caruso) Picone. Surviving are his sister, Anita (Edward) Longo; brothers, Dr. David (Katie) Picone and Richard (Kathi) Picone; he was a hilarious and loving uncle to, Greg Longo, Alicia Truesdell, Alyssa, Jessica, Allison, and Anthony Picone; devoted friend of many cherished weimaraners, Aldo & Marco.
A celebration of John's "Doc's" life will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21st at Huntington Club, MSU Spartan Stadium, 4th floor in East Lansing.
