John Murphy

John Leo Murphy, age 90, of Whitehall, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Pinewood Retirement home in Whitehall. The son of William & Catherine (McCarthy) Murphy, he was born on August 17, 1921 in Detroit and worked for Continental Motors for 24 years. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Murphy of Whitehall; and children, Robert Murphy of Whitehall, Bill Murphy and Linda Jacobs. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.
