John Hatchew, Jr.

John Raymond Hatchew, Jr., aged 62, passed away at home under the loving care of his family and hospice, on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on December 4, 1959, the son of John Sr. and Edith (Pickard) Hatchew. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and step-father, Dutch Chappell Surviving are his wife, Lynnette Hatchew; daughters, Julia Hatchew, Nicole (William Oostdyk) Hatchew, Jeannette Parmelee, Kelli (Kris) Zwiers; seven grandchildren, Kelcey Parmelee, Kristopher Zwiers, Coda Zwiers, Malakhi Haynes, Ayriana Hatchew, Avery Oostdyk, and Ivory John Oostdyk; two brothers, Dennis Hatchew and Richard Hatchew; two sisters, Michelle Albright and Sheryl Chappell; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Meyer Lake in Rockford from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
