John Joseph "Jack" Hubler, age 90, of Greenville, formerly of the Lansing area, passed away Tuesday morning, October 15, 2013 at the Laurels of Carson City. The son of Roy C. and Anna Elizabeth (Powers) Hubler, he was born on May 1, 1923 in Owosso.
Upon graduating from high school, Jack joined the Army and while enlisted, married Ellen Marie Neuendorf on October 7, 1944. Jack was active in the Lansing automotive market before he and his wife retired to Greenville in January 1994.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Theodore Eugene (Gene) Hubler.
Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Ellen; their son David Eugene & Judy Hubler; two brothers, Gerald & Geraldine Hubler and James & Maria Hubler; a sister Joan Kletke; a sister- in-law, Pegge Hubler; three grandchildren, Elizabeth & Todd Torrey, Suzanne & Tom Hollandsworth, and Rebecca & Kevin Edelmann; and five great- grandchildren, Tommy, Tristan and Ella Hollandsworth, and Parker and Olivia Edelmann.
