John Hill

John Ollie Hill, age 64, of Lyons, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at home with family by his side. The son of Claude & Margaret (Grandberry) Hill, he was born on December 31, 1953 in East Chicago, Indiana. John was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Claude Hill and sister Victoria Hill. He will be deeply missed by his wife Tammy; his children Brandy Mason, Lindsey Mason, Keshia Hill, John Hill Jr.; step-daughter Tiffany Taylor; sisters Claudia Spencer and Patricia Brown, as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. John was an avid traveler, going on cruises as often as he could. He loved to collect coins and be around dogs. John was known for living by his favorite motto of 'one day at a time'.
