John Van Dam

John Phillip Van Dam was born December 9, 1938 and went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerrit and Grace Van Dam and John and Kathleen Van Weezel; his sister, Sharon Van Weezel; and a brother, John Jr. Van Weezel. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 25 years, Phyllis Ellen Van Dam; his children Scott Van Dam, David Van Dam and Kris Lemonds; his step-children Robert DeYoung, Jeffery DeYoung, and Shaun (Marie) DeYoung; his sisters, Sandra (Jerry) Stob, Margaret (Larry) Seekman; his brothers, Michael (Dee) Van Weezel and Charles Van Weezel; his sister-in-law Joan Van Weezel; his brother-in-laws Robert (Carol) Merchant and Thomas (Mary) Merchant and several long time friends including Ed Malinzak, Al VanderWall, Larry Longieliere. Honoring John's wishes, cremation has taken place. At John's request there will be no funeral or memorial service.
