John Chevis

Mr. John Chevis, Jr., age 46, of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday morning, Feb. 17, 2009 at Spectrum Health Continuing Care, Grand Rapids. The son of Daisy (Lee) & John Chevis, Sr., he was born on March 22, 1962 in Grand Rapids. John had worked in the drywall construction trade, as well as an assembly laborer in the auto parts manufacturing industry. Survivors include his father, John Chevis, Sr. Homegoing services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Mount Olivet Church of God in Christ, 1154 Burton Street S.E., Grand Rapids.
