John Bensmiller

Dr. John Robert Bensmiller, age 80, of Westland, passed away Thursday evening, July 23, 2009 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital, Livonia. After obtaining his juris doctorate degree, he taught school for 37 years, retiring from Lee M. Thurston High School in Redford. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lila Lee (Mudge); his son, John; and a sister, Shirley. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
