John Anderson

John Thomas Anderson, known as Tom, or J.T. to his friends, age 56, of Dorr, passed away on Saturday, January, 9 2021. He was born on January 9, 1965, in Grand Rapids to Eric Anderson and Mary (DeYoung) Kommer. John loved fishing, disc golf and being around his friends. He was a huge animal lover, always having several animals at a time. John is survived by his three children; Eric (Rochelle) Anderson, Leann (Tony) Grace and Zachary Anderson; step father Ron Kommer and his six siblings; Steve (Michelle) Anderson, Don (Linda) Kommer, John Kommer, Kathy (Paul) Hiedstand, Lisa (Bredley) Sladek and Sara (John Smith) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Eric Anderson and Mary (DeYoung) Kommer. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 616-452-3006.
