Jo Ellen Arnold, age 57, of Belding, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 in the emergency room of Spectrum Health-United Hospital, Greenville.
The daughter of Murn & Beatrice (Olger) Coston, she was born on Dec. 15, 1951 in Greenville. A graduate of Greenville High School, she earned her Licensed Practical Nursing diploma from Montcalm Community College and worked for many years at the former Belding Community Hospital.
On June 24, 1978, in Belding, she married Richard Arnold, who preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Brown; and a sister-in-law, Doris Brown.
Surviving are two daughters, Amy Arnold and Kate Arnold, both of Greenville; two brothers, Ronald & Lucy Brown, and Robert & Mary Jean Brown, all of Greenville; her step-children, Tammy Ingersoll, Brenda & Ron Spencer, Jim & Shelly Arnold, Brian & Dawn Arnold, and David & Melanie Arnold; siblings-in-law, Gary & Kay Arnold, Betty McQueen, and Debbie & Mike Slayton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where the family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
