Joanne Moore

Mrs. Joanne Catherine Moore, age 64, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007 at her home. The daughter of William & Rosa (Holloway) Jeffers, she was born on Nov. 17, 1942 in Barthel, Kentucky. A devoted wife and mother, Joanne kept an immaculate home and enjoyed painting, crocheting, and making quilts. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Moore on Jan. 21, 2006; and a grandson, Christopher Elling Ruid on June 15, 1994. Surviving are four daughters, Brenda & Rocky Riggs of Elwell, Barbara Daly & Ed Slaktowski of Grand Rapids, Rebecca & Stacy Newland of Cedar Springs, and Mary & Christopher Button of Greenville; her grandchildren, Jodi Harrison of Greenville, Krissy & Jason Fox of Ionia, Jessica & Justin Johnson of Lebanon, Missouri, Amanda & Dan Swarts of Turk Lake, Eric Dickerson of Grand Rapids, William Daly III of Turk Lake, Ronald Ruid of Greenville, and MariAnn Newland of Cedar Springs; and twelve great grandchildren.
