Joan Y. Schmidt, age 83, of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Heartland Health Care Center - Crest View. The daughter of Claude & Anna (Kresesers) Howard, she was born on March 1, 1930 in Grand Rapids. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place.
