Jimmie Hartl

Jim Hartl, age 60, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016. Jim was in trade school and a proud Marine. He enjoyed repairing his classic cars, fishing and camping with family and friends. Surviving are his son, Jimmie Hartl Jr.; daughters, Jennifer Hartl and Jessica VanDussen; grandchildren; and girlfriend, LouAnn Tasma. A memorial service will be held at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E., Grand Rapids, (One block west of Eastern Avenue) on Friday, June 24th, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation on hour prior to the service. A Celebraion of Life will he held at Knight of Columbus Hall, 1896 135th Ave., Hopkins, on Sunday, June 26th from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Jim was a loving father, grandfather, boyfriend, and friend. He will forever be missed! Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
