Jessica Stanley

Jessica Shannon Stanley, 34, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2019. She was born on a snowy day at Blodgett Hospital, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on January 14, 1985, to Wayne Hayden & Mary Elizabeth Stanley. She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in 2003 and went on to become a certified Dental Assistant. Jessica worked as a dental assistant for several years and had a knack for calming nervous patients. She had a great sense of humor, made friends easily and got along with everyone. Jessica cared deeply for her family and loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephew. She enjoyed reading, making crafts and home decorating. She always liked to look her best and was known to be an excellent cook. Survivors include her mother and father; siblings, Amelia (Joseph) Betts, Robin (Ken) Golden, and Benjamin Stanley; nieces and nephew, Alexis and Megan Golden, and Emmalee and Dominic Betts; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020, at Christ Church, 2500 Breton Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI. A memorial service will take place at 12:00 pm with Pastor Andrew Vander Maas officiating. She will be interred in the columbarium at Christ Church.
