Jesse Brown

Jesse J. Brown, Jr., age 73, of Corning, California, formerly of Greenville, passed away on Feb. 6, 2009 in Red Bluff, California. The son of Gladys (Hammond) and Jesse Brown, Sr., he was born on April 18, 1936, in Greenville. Always a child at heart, Jesse delighted in spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Leroy Brown. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Fred Johnson of Greenville; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Bob & Mary Brown of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Vivian Brown of California; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Graveside committal services are at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at East Montcalm Cemetery, located on M-91 north of Greenville, with Pastor Tom Hansen of Greenville Community Church officiating.
