Jeanne Doris Carlson, age 90, passed away Tuesday morning, October 4, 2011 at her daughter's home under the loving care of her family and Faith Hospice. The daughter of George & Mary (Douiver) Mitchell, she was born on March 8, 1921 in Boston, Massachusetts and had worked as a mortgage banker. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Groves and a granddaughter, Jennifer Lockhart. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
