Jeanette Drouin

Jeanette Elizabeth (Gerrow) Drouin, 68, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home under the loving care of her family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. The daughter of Elmer Archie & Christine Grace (Tanner) Gerrow, she was born on June 23, 1947 in St. Albans, Vermont. After marrying Laurien Philip Drouin, they made their home in Grand Rapids, raised three children, and enjoyed 33 years of marriage until Laurien passed away on December 6, 1999. Jeanette had worked in the photolab at Meijer for many years. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Vernessa Gerrow; her parents; and her maternal grandparents, Herbert & Frances Tanner. Surviving are her children, Stephenie & Dan Rahn of Wyoming, Nicole Hawley of Grand Rapids, and Laurien P. Drouin Jr. of Grandville; her twin sister, Janice Gerrow of East Hartford, Connecticut; a brother, Kenneth & Ellen Gerrow of Bakersfield, Vermont; her youngest sister, Sandra Garrow of Highgate, Vermont; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
