Jean Marie Kogler

Jean Marie Kogler, age 62, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Corewell Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, following a motorcycle accident that also claimed the life of her husband. The daughter of Lyle William & Joyce Ann (Rempis) Seelye, she was born on July 20, 1962 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Following her graduation from high school, she married Rodney Carl Kogler and together they enjoyed almost 45 years of marriage. Jean also worked outside the home for CleanTech and was an avid fisherwoman. She also enjoyed ranger riding, cooking for family and friends. Spending time time with family and friends. She was the most giving lady and always up for a FUN time! She was always the life of the party! She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rodney; a son, Carl William Kogler; and a grandson, Tyrese Kogler. Surviving are her children, Maria & Robert Moser of Greenville, Rodney C. Kogler, Jr. of Greenville, and BobbieJo & Eli Sitzema of Howard City; five grandchildren, Tesa Harley, Tyla Moser, Tana Moser, Chase Kogler, and Braden Kogler; two sisters, Jacqueline & Bruce Bowen, and Susan & Henry Benedict; a brother, Robert Seelye; her mother-in-law, Rose Kogler; siblings-in-law, Sandy & Lynn Dietz, Karen & Rich Haff, Timothy & Debbi Kogler, and Rex & Terri Kogler; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life for Jean & Rodney will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Maria & Bob's home located at 9233 Wabasis Pointe Drive N.E., Greenville.
