Jean Galdeen, age 78, of Twin Lake, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. She was born on March 4, 1942, in Grand Haven to Albert and Katie DeYoung.
Jean loved the outdoors. She loved hunting, camping, fishing and enjoying it all with her family. Family was very important to Jean, they meant everything to her. She and her family were actively into drag racing, and she was always there with her support. Jean also played the piano for many years, she even played for the local church with her grandfather growing up. She was a talented pianist, but mostly loved playing gospel music. Though Jean was a women of many talents and hobbies, what she will be remembered most for, is her love for her family.
Jean is survived by her husband, Bernard; children, David (Mary) Galdeen, Bernard (Stacey) Galdeen Jr., and Julie Gagnon; sisters, Elsie Klint, Ruth (Bill) Baxter and Mary Warden; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Katie; and her brother, William DeYoung.
