Jay Graves

Jay Junior Graves, age 79, of Norton Shores, Michigan passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his wife on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was born March 14, 1944 in London Ohio. Jay married the love of his life, Linda Maxine Paynter on May 11, 1968. He worked many years in construction and later as a forklift driver before retiring. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Linda Graves; son, Jay Graves Jr.; daughter, Shannon Lee (Philip) Clowes; 7 grandchildren, Kami Graves, Kayley Graves, Emily Graves, Zoe Graves, Ryan (Jelliz) Brown, Isaiah (Felicia) Brown, Jeremiah Brown; 4 great-grandchildren and another on the way; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Jay was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.
