Jay Alan Freeman, age 52, of Grand Rapids, passed away early Friday morning, March 6, 2009 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital.
The son of Russell H. & Helen M. (Juday) Freeman, he was born on July 12, 1956 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jay grew up in Grand Rapids and was self-employed as a general contractor.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and private family services are being planned.
