Jason Swinney

Jason "Bub" James Daniel Swinney, born on August 16, 1989, unexpectedly passed at the age of 33, on June 10, 2023. Jason always loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was always the jokester and loved to play pranks to make you smile. Even on your worst days, he always found a way to make you laugh. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He is survived by his parents, Jason Swinney of Otsego and Christine Swinney of Plainwell. He is also survived by his daughter, Summer Swinney of Martin and his siblings: Kristen Swinney of Dorr, Joseph Swinney of Otsego, Dillon Swinney of Plainwell, Alexis Arnold of Galesburg, Hunter Swinney, Bill Burgen and Bailey Burgen of Plainwell. As well as his grandparents, James and Carolyn Pardee of Shelbyville and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 24, 2023, at 1:00PM at the Martin United Methodist Church. 969 E. Allegan St. Martin, MI 49070. A luncheon will follow.
