Janice Marie Roberts

Janice Marie Roberts, age 63, passed away early Friday, February 27, 2026 under the loving care of her family and Corewell Health Hospice. The daughter of Charles Richard Fulk & Janice Diane Cook, she was born on May 19, 1962 in Glenview, Illinois.

Janice was known for her determined, warrior-like spirit. She defeated cancer, lived a full life despite two divorces, single motherhood, six years in the Michigan National Guard, and never let her MS diagnosis slow her down. She was always looking out for her daughter and her family and never showed any signs of weakness. Janice was a true inspiration and hero to all who knew and loved her, especially her daughter, Rae.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Fulk & Janice Diane Reader. She is survived by her daughter, Radian Marie & Marcelino Flores of Cedar Springs; two grandchildren, Anevay Flores and Joey Flores; her brothers, Chuck Fulk and Gerald Reader; and her “sister” Kathy Phillips, with whom she developed a life-long friendship over their shared love of horses. Whether they were training, participating in rodeos or parades, or just riding, their relationship withstood the tests of time.
