Janet Morency

Janet Charletta (Browning) Morency, age 76, of Dorr, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021, and Heaven gained an Angel. She was born on December 20, 1944, to Charles & Norma (Keaner) Browning. Janet married Joseph Alton Morency on May 24, 1963. Together they had five children, and Janet adopted her grandson, Joshua Morency, in 1997. She was a waitress most of her life. She loved serving people. Janet was a fun loving woman, she always had a smile and a joke. Her smiled would light up a room. Janet loved to serve the Lord. Survivors include five children, Debbra (Chris) Blair of Dorr, Denise (Michael) Reinardy of Caledonia, Ronald (Tammy) Morency of Romeo, John (Joy) Morency of Cadillac and Richard (Ann) Morency of Ionia; 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce Wagner of Maryland, Alden (Caroline) Roggow of Saginaw, Rosalie (Stu) Stout of Virginia and Edward Browning of Dorr; and 19 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman & Charles Browning; and sister, Rosalie Stout. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at LifeChange Community Church, 3014 Newell Street, Dorr, Michigan, with Pastor Steve Jones officiating. Face masks are required and social distancing should be practiced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
