Janet Kay Loveless, age 64, of Orleans, passed away Thursday morning, April 12, 2012 at Spectrum Health-United Hospital in Greenville. The daughter of Donald Fredrick & Hilda (Orwick) Misner, she was born on May 23, 1947 in Ionia and was a 1964 graduate of Ionia High School. On November 13, 1965, in Ionia, she married Keith Irwin Loveless and together they raised two sons and enjoyed over 46 years of marriage.
For 23 years Janet worked at the former General Tire plant in Ionia and most recently in the bakery at Jorgensen's in Greenville. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Ionia where she was active in league bowling, as well as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ray I. Booth American Legion Post 101 in Greenville. While Janet enjoyed cooking and baking, crocheting, fishing and gardening, she found her greatest joy in time spent with her three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Don Misner. Surviving are her husband, Keith Loveless of Orleans; their sons, Don & Laura Loveless of Ionia, and David Loveless & Della Warner of Orleans; three grandchildren, Sadie Loveless, Kayla Loveless, and David Loveless, all at home; her mother, Hilda Misner of Ionia; two brothers, Russ & Sue Misner, and John & Carol Misner, all of Ionia; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Christiansen Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Greenville.
