Janet Jacobs

Janet Marie Jenny Jacobs, age 75, of Stanton, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Spectrum Health-United Hospital in Greenville. Born on May 13, 1938, in Ionia, Jenny was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was a member of the Greenville Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Clark; a brother, William Clark; and two grandchildren, Tabitha Davis and Morgan Sage. Surviving are her husband, Bruce J. Jacobs of Stanton; her children, James & Debra Clark of Toulon, Illinois, Scott Clark of Chesaning, Angela & Scott Wellman of Flint, Deborah Sage of Belding, Janet & Alan Olson of Greenville, Roberta Davis of Greenville, Dan & Jennifer Clark of Carson City, and Cheryl L. Jacobs of Stanton; four sisters, Pat Barber, Linda & Doug Robathum, Carol Clark, and Toni & Roger Smith; nineteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family is from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Greenville Church of the Nazarene, 10087 S. Greenville Road, Greenville, where memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the church.
