Jane A. Raymor, age 88, of Greenville, passed away early Friday, August 29, 2025 at Hathaway Hills, under the care of her family and Interim Hospice. The daughter of Hugh & Opal (Kaiser) Fleagle, she was born on December 17, 1936 in St. Johns, Michigan. A 1954 graduate of Greenville High School, Jane then attended Blodgett School of Nursing where she received her LPN degree. On June 2, 1956 in Greenville, she married William Elwood Raymor, Jr. and together they enjoyed over sixty-nine years of marriage, raised six sons, and went on to adopt and raise two daughters.
Jane loved taking care of others and always looked out for their wellbeing. She was a member of the Beaverton Church of the Brethren and the Lions Club of Michigan, she was the Mother Teresa Humanitarian award winner, and the Melvin Jones award recipient. She also enjoyed various other volunteering ventures, gardening, and channeled her creativity with knitting, quilting, and needlepoint.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh & Opal; a son, Michael Alan Raymor; and her brother, Richard Fleagle. Jane is survived by her husband Bill Raymor, Jr.; five sons, Bill (Karen) Raymor, III; Robert (Brenda) Raymor, Dave Raymor, Don (Candy) Raymor, and Brian Raymor; two daughters, Tonya Raymor and Loretta (Justin) Todd; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Kochans and Jeri (Larry) Benson; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
