Jane Elkins

Jane Marie (Sardi) Elkins, age 67, of Grand Rapids, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. She was born April 3, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Carl and Jane (Harris) Sardi. Jane married the love of her life, Randy Elkins on July 5, 1973, in Jackson, Michigan. For many years Jane was a teacher's aide for the Rockford Public School System. She is survived by her husband, Randy Elkins; sons, Dustin (Jody) Elkins and Matt Tyler (Erin) Elkins; six beautiful grandchildren, Silas, Raisa, Zevin, Brixton, Ashton and Avery; mother-in-law, Norva Elkins-Bylsma; brothers-in-law, Bob (Susan) Elkins and Roy (Stephanie) Elkins; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Matt Tyler (Erin) Elkins; six beautiful grandchildren, Silas, Raisa, Zevin, Brixton, Ashton and Avery; mother-in-law, Norva Elkins-Bylsma; brothers-in-law, Bob (Susan) Elkins and Roy (Stephanie) Elkins; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
