Jane Van Allen

Jane Brouwer Van Allen, age 96, went home to glory Sunday, March 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward in May 2012. They loved each other deeply and faithfully for 66 years. Jane had a strong faith. She always interjected her relationship with Jesus Christ into her conversations and was truly a witness to all who knew her. At an early Jane used her gift of vocal music, singing with the Messengers of Love trio on the Children's Bible hour and with the John W .Peterson Chorale. As an adult she sang as a soloist in churches, at weddings, and many other venues around the Grand Rapids area. Jane instilled a love of Christ and music in all her children. Jane will be missed by her children, Kristen and Jay Render, Pamela Corbin, Steven and Barbara Van Allen, and Daniel and Judith Van Allen. She cared deeply for her family and prayed for each one by name daily, especially her 11 grandchildren and their spouses, and 25 (soon to be 26) great-grandchildren. Funeral service is pending.
