James Piercefield

James William Piercefield, age 68, went to be with his Savior on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. The youngest of fifteen children, he was born on July 28, 1950 to William A. & Thelma (Catlin) Piercefield. On May 6, 1999, he married Michele Sherman. He was an avid athlete, outdoorsman, an amazing husband, father, and grandfather, and a wonderful friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, and four brothers. Surviving are his loving wife, Michele Piercefield; his only daughter, Amanda & Jeffrey Rameau; grandson, Brendan; four sisters, Janet King, Patricia VanHouten, Bonnie & Bill Kinsman, and Wilma Waters; two brothers, Wayne Piercefield and Jerry & Carolyn Piercefield; as well as numerous in-law's and extended family. Visitation with the family is from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15th at Ada Bible Church, 8899 Cascade Road S.E., Ada, where memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. A luncheon will follow and instead of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to Ada Bible Church.
