James Nau

James Richard Nau, age 49, also known as Jimbo, Jimmy, Shim Diesel, Shim, Uncle, Jim-Jack, Michigan Jim, of Onaway, formerly of Corunna, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. The son of Perry & Helene (O'Kelly) Nau, he was born on January 29, 1967 in Flint, and was a 1986 graduate of Corunna High School. As a life long professional carpenter, he enjoyed fishing, painting, wood working, gardening, and camping. Surviving are his parents, Perry & Helene of Onaway; a brother, Timothy & Kimie Nau of Vernon; two sisters, Kim & John Cole of Lennon, and Cheryl & Mark Anderson of Haymarket, Virginia; nieces and nephews, Matthew Nau, Aunna Zuniga, Cody Nau, John Cole, Austin Cole, Sierra Anderson, Brett Anderson and pets Molly, Baby Girl and Dude. To many more, Jim was a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin and friend, including being considered as a special son to Bruce and Debbie Whipple of Onaway.
