James Moseley

James Scott Moseley, age 65, of Dorr, Michigan passed away Wednesday, March 08, 2023. He was born in Hastings, Michigan to Jack and Patsy (Derby) Moseley and resided there the majority of his life. James proudly served in the United States Army for 5 years. He worked at Spartan Stores (in Byron Center) for over 23 years. He was a proud member of the Teamsters. He was a very active member of the American legion post 0127. He enjoyed many kinds of sports; football, baseball, golf etc. He spent his free time golfing, and enjoyed the leagues he was in (pool, horseshoes, and golf). He was a great guy. He has many family and friends with fantastic memories of him. A big personality with a even bigger heart to match. He will be missed by many. James leaves behind: his Daughter Hannah (Bryan) Cole; his mother Patsy Palazzola; his special friend Cindy Pate; brothers Jack (Joyce) Moseley, Timothy Moseley; sisters Truie (Kevin) Rotman, Laura (Ron) Purvis, Lynda Palazzola and Kathy (Bill) Palazzola, and many nieces and nephews, and his former wife Iris. Committal Service to be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery Friday, March 17, 2023 at 12:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the American Legion Post #127 on Saturday March 18th 2023 at 12PM.
