James Ashworth Kelly, age 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away on August 15, 2019, at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. James Ashworth Kelly He was born on September 10, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY, to James & Mary (Johnson) Kelly. James served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. The public is invited to show support for James Kelly on August 29, 2019, at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, 3000 Monroe Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of the funeral at 10:45 am, followed by full military honors. Interment will be at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Cemetery.
