James Johnson

James A. Johnson, age 69, of Coral, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice. The son of Kermit & Mary Jane (Roscoe) Johnson, he was born on October 21, 1950 in Grand Rapids and had worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards, fixing cars and road trips. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Jane & Kermit Johnson; brothers Ron, Richard, Rob, Danny, Dave, Steve, Butch and Dale. Surviving are his children, Jessica Shenefield of Westminster, Colorado, Jaime Johnson of Coral, and Frank & Elena Johnson of Coral; seven grandchildren, Ava, Olivia, Morgan, Caleb, Mia, James and Jordan; the mother of his children, Margaret Herweyer of Coral; two sisters and a brother, Joann & John Kremm of Standale, John & Nelda Johnson of Alpine Township, and Mary Ann Harris of Solon Springs, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.
