James Wayne Haywood, age 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday morning, September 5, 2011 at Margret Meadows in Remus. The son of Cy & Emily (Spalding) Haywood, he was born on March 12, 1929 in Dade City, Florida. A U.S. Army veteran of the Cold War, Jim worked at Keeler Brass in Grand Rapids for over 25 years. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
