James Coulter

James Alan Coulter, age 80, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. He was born on May 20, 1944, in Battle Creek, to Jack & Mary Coulter. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Army achieving the rank of Specialist Fourth Class. He earned the National Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal prior to his honorable discharge in 1967. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in the chapel at Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids, 2950 Monroe Avenue NE. Military Honors will be rendered by the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
