James Clarence "Jim" Andrews, age 84, of Belding, passed away late Friday afternoon, July 12, 2024 at Mission Point of Greenville. The son of Clarence & Marie Katherine (Pakkala) Andrews, he was born on June 29, 1940 in Adams Township in Houghton County.
Just out of high school, Jim began working in printing and publishing in Kalkaska. He worked in printing his entire life, and retired from Printco in Greenville, after moving down to the Greenville and Belding areas. He enjoyed camping, traveling, golf and classic cars.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John Andrews; a grandson, Hansel Andrews; a brother, Mick Andrews; and a step-son, Bryon King. Surviving are his long-time companion and life partner, Katherine King; his children, Tom & Natalie Andrews, and Don & Debbie Andrews; his step-children, Don King, and Brenda & Mike Davenport; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his siblings, Jerry Andrews, Kathy & Larry Jenkins, Carol & Greg Martinson, Dave & Deb Andrews, Dennis & Chris Andrews, and Ed & Roe Andrews; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
