Jacqueline Kay Hendershot, age 74, of Crystal, Michigan, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at her home under the loving care of her family and Quality Care Hospice.

The daughter of Richard Dwight & Virginia Lucille (Kinch) Worden, she was born on June 14, 1950 in Lansing, Michigan.

On February 10, 1968, in Lansing, she married Louis LeRoy Hendershot and together they raised four children and enjoyed over 58 years of marriage. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Jackie enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards, and bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sally Shupp; and four brothers, Richard Worden, Jr., Ronald Worden, Franklin Worden, and Michael Worden.

Surviving are her husband, Louis Hendershot of Crystal, Michigan; their children, Louis Hendershot, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Richard Hendershot of Coopersville, Michigan, Julie & Michael Wells of Crystal, Michigan, and Rhonda & Rueben Olson of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Russel Worden of Charlotte, Michigan, Robert Worden of Acworth, Georgia, Raymond Worden of San Angelo, Texas; two sisters, Georgia Justice of Sheridan, Michigan, and Josephine Urban of Lansing, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jacqueline’s life is 12-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Stanton American Legion Post No. 452, 337. W Day Street, Stanton, Michigan 48888.
