Jacqueline Anes

Jacqueline Ann "Jackie" Anes, age 59, of Lansing, passed away on April 7th, 2021. The Daughter of Ernest Wilfred and Delores Elaine (Andre) Fulton, she was born on June 3, 1961 in Detroit. Jacqueline grew up in Southfield, Michigan and graduated from Southfield High School. Jacqueline, or Jackie as most called her, was a woman of many talents, passions and interests. She loved everything about Michigan, except winter. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends, grilling food over charcoal, exploring northern Michigan, boating, tubing and especially fishing. Lilly Lake in Harrison, Michigan always held a special place in her heart. She wasn't much for swinging a golf club, but Jackie was always game to throw on her sunglasses and drive the golf cart, keeping score for friends and family. Jackie also loved the city of Detroit, specifically Greektown and its food. While she loved the outdoors, she also had several indoor hobbies. One of her favorite things was cross stitching, and she made many special projects for her children and grandchildren. Jackie was a tremendous cook of meals large and small. Whether it be Holiday meals, sides for BBQ's, deserts or sack lunches, Jackie always put a special touch on her food. Always warm and welcoming, she took great pleasure in hosting and having friends and family enjoy her cooking and home. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Sue and Rick. Surviving are her three children Michael Joseph Anes, Elizabeth Elaine Carey (Jack), and Robyn Lyn Anes; two grandchildren, John Carey and Lillian Anes; five siblings, Steve, Ron, Pat, Ernie and Bobby; and her spouse of more than 40 years, Michael Wallace Anes. Jackie wished to be cremated and that there be no funeral service.
